Lawn bowls, a pickleball court and sparkling swimming pool have officially launched at northern Bendigo’s premier over-50s lifestyle estate, Lincoln Lifestyle Huntly.

More than 100 people, including Lincoln Place Executive General Manager for Development, Angus Johnson and the estate’s first residents, came to celebrate the opening of the first amenities at the $110 million community.

Mr Johnson said the Wellness Centre was part of an $8 million investment in amenities at the estate, with a state-of-the-art clubhouse to be delivered in the future.

“Lincoln Lifestyle Huntly is creating new opportunities for local downsizers to live life well, and these wellness amenities play a significant role in ensuring residents can embrace a new lifestyle with everything on their doorstep,” Mr Johnson said.

“From the pickleball courts and bowling green to the indoor heated pool, these spaces are thoughtfully designed to promote community connection and year-round, low-impact exercise. Future stages will include the delivery of a fully equipped gymnasium.

Huntly’s new Wellness Centre includes a heated indoor pool, pickleball courts, a bowls green and more.

“Our Wellness Centres are incredibly popular at our other Lincoln Place communities along Australia’s east coast, helping residents to stay active, enjoy the outdoors and make social connections.”

“We are delivering 232 two and three-bedroom homes at Lincoln Lifestyle Huntly in five stages, boosting housing supply in the northern Bendigo region and supporting the local jobs and investment.”

In future, a 600sqm Clubhouse will sit next door to the Wellness Centre and will feature a large fireplace, kitchen and dining spaces, a resident lounge, private cinema, craft studio and games room exclusively for residents to enjoy with their guests, expected to be completed in 2027.

Mr Johnson said Huntly residents would have access to a variety of free workouts, education sessions and social activities through Wini Health’s award-winning online wellness platform.

“Lincoln Place’s partnership with Wini Health provides Huntly residents with further opportunities to embrace wellness, both in their homes and the shared amenities spaces, and we look forward to activating this in the community in the months ahead,” he said.

Mr Johnson said homes within Lincoln Lifestyle Huntly, formerly known as Huntly Lifestyle Estate, were being delivered under the popular land lease model.

“The land lease model provides our residents with a pathway to financial freedom, where they can own a new home but lease the land, meaning they pay no stamp duty, no council rates, no deferred management fees and no entry fee,” he said.

“The only ongoing cost is a weekly site rental fee for the land that also covers the maintenance of the community and the extensive lifestyle amenities.”

Homes within Lincoln Lifestyle Huntly are priced from $400,000. Buyers who purchase a home before 30 November 2025 will receive a $5000 smooth-move support offer for homes that settle by June 30 2026.
