Meet the team: Glenn Carter
Originally from Melbourne, Glenn’s journey has taken him across Australia and abroad, shaping a career built on people, community and connection. From Melbourne to Adelaide and Perth, before spending 12 years living in Japan, Glenn eventually settled in Brisbane in 2001, where he continues to call Queensland home today.
With decades of experience across the seniors living and land lease industry, Glenn has built an impressive career working with some of Australia’s most recognised operators. Throughout his career, Glenn has become passionate about helping Australians over 50s find communities that genuinely enhance their lifestyle, wellbeing, and sense of connection.
What first drew Glenn to the land lease sector was the unique balance it offers between lifestyle, security and financial flexibility. He believes the model provides an opportunity for Australians over 50 to enjoy the lifestyle they have worked hard for, while offering a more accessible and flexible alternative to traditional seniors housing options.
For Glenn, the most rewarding part of his career has always been the people. He says his proudest achievement is being able to walk into any community he has helped people move into and be greeted like an old friend, something he sees as a reflection of the genuine relationships and trust he builds with residents throughout their journey.
Now part of Lincoln Place, Glenn was drawn to the business because of its strong industry reputation and ambitious plans for growth. He saw an opportunity to be part of something exciting and community focused, particularly with Lincoln Lifestyle Northern Beaches.
What stood out most to Glenn about the community was its location, thoughtfully designed masterplan and the exceptional value it offers compared to the Townsville real estate market and other seniors housing offerings. Outside of work, Glenn has recently rekindled his love of golf enjoys watching Asian dramas on Netflix and exploring all things wine. A loyal AFL supporter, he proudly follows the Essendon Football Club through every season.
