17 April 2026 – Lawn bowls, a pickleball court, putting green and sparkling swimming pool have officially launched at the Riverina’s premier over-50s lifestyle estate, Lincoln Lifestyle Griffith Hill.

More than 100 people, including Griffith City Council Mayor Doug Curran, Lincoln Place Chairman Nick Collishaw, and the estate’s first residents, came to celebrate the opening of the new amenities at the $120 million community.
Mr Collishaw said the Wellness Centre was part of a $7 million investment in amenities at the estate by Lincoln Place, with a state-of-the-art Clubhouse also to be delivered by local builder Brad Hammond Builders.
“Lincoln Lifestyle Griffith Hill is creating new opportunities for local downsizers to connect, belong, and live well, and the Wellness Centre plays an important role in bringing the community together and helping residents embrace an active lifestyle,” Mr Collishaw said.
“With a new heated indoor pool, bowling green, pickleball court, putting green and community spaces including an outdoor terrace and BBQ area, this space has been thoughtfully designed to support year-round, low-impact activity. Upcoming stages will also introduce a fully equipped gymnasium.
“Health and wellness is highly valued by residents across our communities, and we’re proud to deliver spaces where they can stay active, enjoy their environment and connect with neighbours.”

Lincoln Lifestyle Griffith Hill Resident Lesley Woodbridge, 79, has lived in the community for eight months and said the new Wellness Centre would allow her and her neighbours to stay active close to home.
“The Wellness Centre is going to be fabulous, they’ve thought of everything we could need,” Ms Woodbridge said. “The facilities are well equipped, the pool is beautiful, and there’s even a putting green and a bowling green.
“Movement is so important at my age. I go walking every day and do chair yoga in town, but I’m looking forward to having this space for activities closer to home so we can all be fit and healthy without leaving the community.
“I’m keen to have a go at pickleball, which is popular in communities where people are ageing. I used to play tennis, but this is a smaller court, so I won’t have to run so far and can still keep moving.
“It’s been great to see the community grow, and it will be even better when the Clubhouse opens, with even more spaces for activities to fill our days and connect with each other.”
The 744sqm Clubhouse, positioned alongside the Wellness Centre and expected to be completed in 2027, will feature a kitchen, bar and dining spaces, a resident lounge, private cinema, craft studio, games room, and spaces designed exclusively for residents to relax in and enjoy with their guests.
Ms Woodbridge, a longtime Griffith local, said she downsized into a two-bedroom, two-bathroom house at Lincoln Lifestyle Griffith Hill with her dog, Lois Lane, for more safety and security.
“I’m a widow and have been living on my own for 14 years, and the main reason for downsizing was I didn’t feel safe in my house. This community is gated and very secure so I sleep a lot better at night, and I’ve got great neighbours looking out for me too,” she said.
“The whole experience has been positive. I’ve made lots of friends and I’m definitely better off living in this community.”
Once complete, Lincoln Lifestyle Griffith Hill will deliver more than 150 new two- and three-bedroom homes, built by prestige local builder Coachwood Homes and designed specifically for over-50s living.
